Dr. Sabine Huemer is a cognitive neuroscientist with a special interest in neurodivergent brains, neurodiversity, and neurotechnology. She teaches in the Department of Psychological Sciences at Whittier College in Whittier, California, and conducts research on autism, dyslexia, and other learning disorders. Dr. Huemer’s work has been published in international science journal and she has presented her work at neuroscience and autism conferences on three continents.

Dr. Huemer conducts workshops for professionals, organizes autism awareness events, and gives public talks for support groups and parents. She recently founded the Neurodiversity and Neurotechnology Learning Community at Whittier College to explore neurotechnology that may help neurodivergent individuals to live up to their full neurocognitive potential.
